I visited the park just before 2 feet of snow dumped down on Washington D.C. and these are the photos I took. The artist is Nancy Holt, whom I have chosen for my design influence for our project at Admirals Park. The park was designed around the casting of shadows on the ground, specifically on the 1st of August when all the shadows from the spheres converge. That particular date marks the day when the land that is now Rosslyn was purchased by William Henry Ross
